Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in:     Email Campaign Idea - The SMS Email: - Email Examples: - [The SMS Email Example 1]( - [The SMS Email Example 2](  - Purpose/Context of Email: SMS is such a powerful tool that so many brands still aren't using. If you're not collecting phone numbers in your pop up, you can do it via email with a campaign like this. Definitely important to have before BFCM. [Example 1]( is from Olipop. Love the copy here. They had an interesting CTA, was to actually click and send a text. Again, this is not a direct revenue-generating email, but you'll funnel people to a discount via SMS which will generate revenue. Just 1000 contacts for SMS will be huge for most brands, so send this campaign and fill that list. [Example 2]( is from Golde. Firstly, the design here is awesome. It's not over-the-top, but it's very clear. I dig it. Tons of benefits for joining, and they're plainly communicated. You're going to need to incentivize people to join the list, but with a structure like this, you can get 5-10% of your email subscribers to convert here. - Segment(s): - Your engaged segment  - Subject Line Idea: - Wanna text us? - Let's chat. - 10% off when you join our text club!  - Preview Text Idea: - There's a discount if you do. - 10% off, just for you. - Details inside!     Sponsor of the Week: The most common questions I receive from fellow founders revolve around email marketing, copywriting, and hiring. I have TONS of content available on email marketing and copywriting, so I want to quickly touch on the hiring piece. TL;DR: I hire all my freelance marketers on [MarketerHire.]( At my agency, we have 100+ employees, which is great on the one hand and hectic on the other. While at the couple of businesses I own outside my agency, everyone is a freelancer. Why? A few reasons I prefer to hire freelancers: 1. Way easier to get started 2. Way easier to part ways if it's not the right fit 3. Way more flexible (can easily adjust hours up or down as you go) 4. Way less expensive (I don't have to pay for all the other expenses that come with having employees) 5. Insanely large talent pool of top-tier candidates And the list goes on... I hire all of my freelance marketers from [MarketerHire.]( They make it insanely easy to connect with pre-vetted marketers quickly. I think of them as the Uber for hiring. It couldn't be any easier this way. [Check them out here.](     Podcast Episode: In this episode, Chase Dimond and Cardinal Mason discuss:  - Mason's Team Trip Recap - The Best Jobs To Make Over $200,000 Per Year - How We Celebrated Becoming Millionaires  [Check out this episode here.](     ChatGPT-4 Marketing Prompt: Propose [number] customer onboarding strategies that can help our agency's client introduce their product or service to new customers and drive conversions.  Context:  Client industry — [client industry here] Target audience — [client's target audience here] Current customer onboarding efforts — [describe current customer onboarding efforts here]  Inspiration:  "[customer onboarding strategy one]" "[customer onboarding strategy two]" "[customer onboarding strategy three]"  Onboarding guidelines:  "[your onboarding guidelines here]"     Copywriting Tip of the Week:  Tell your own story in your copy.  Use this framework:  >> Hi, I’m [name] >> I had [problem], just like you >> Then, I found/created [product] >> After that, I [outcome]  Works great for landing pages, ads, and emails.     Copywriting Resource of the Week: Here’s a table with 7 techniques for writing captivating headlines:       Email Marketing Meme of the Week: Email Marketing is consistently the most profitable yet most ignored marketing channel.       Hire Freelance Copywriters: If you own a business and you’re looking to hire a copywriter: My team at Copy MBA will connect you with one of our dozen-plus, highly trained, and vetted copywriters for FREE to help you grow your business.
