Set up your trades correctly

We’re on the lookout for market rallies as they give tremendous opportunities. [unsubscribe]( The market has given us the opportunity to make solid gains to both the upside and the downside over the last year. Here’s what we look for. UPSIDE OPPORTUNITY The primary thing to identify is the market rising from oversold levels. Our analysis shows oversold levels occur when 5x more stocks have SELL ratings than BUY ratings. When this happens, we’re on the lookout for market rallies as they give tremendous opportunities. Example: July 21, 2022—The market was rising off a bottom and CELH was a fundamentally sound company, in a new uptrend, breaking above resistance. Buying a call option returned 107% in 9 days. Keep in mind, the stock rose 21%. While 21% is great, I think we can agree 107% is much better! The first thing to identify is when downside risk outweighs upside potential. We use an indicator called The MTI. When it is over 1.5, we start to become defensive. Then, once the market begins to move lower, that’s when we start looking for stocks to buy puts on. Example: November 22, 2021—The market was falling off overbought levels and BYND was a likely candidate to continue to fall. It was already in an established downtrend and the company’s EPS was falling dramatically. Buying a put option returned 85% in 9 days.
