Overestimating the Effects of AI…  Morgan Stanley may have just [prophesied the downfall of AI](. In a company memo, the investment bank described the effects of Amara’s Law. Yahoo Finance reports Amara’s Law, in short, is the tendency to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run. The memo from Morgan Stanley warned… “If AI is to avoid becoming an Amara Law hype cycle, [it] will need to demonstrate stickiness over the medium-term, a feat that is becoming more challenging over time." We’ve seen other new technologies quickly catch fire, only to fizzle out and never meet their full expectations. Similar tech bubbles appeared with the rise of 3D printing, augmented reality, and, most recently, with the investor aspirations of EVs. Nasdaq reports how, in the early 2020s, “EV stocks led by companies like Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid experienced a meteoric rise.” And yet, here we are just a few years later, and Rivian and Lucid stocks have cratered, falling as much as 90%. Tesla, through its ventures in other business lines like Energy Storage Systems and AI, has proven to be the only viable – and profitable – EV maker to date. When these tech bubbles burst, they invariably leave investors disillusioned by their losses. Now, many worry a similar fate is awaiting AI. And one man, legendary financial analyst Porter Stansberry, who called Nvidia at $11… Sees this horrifying tech implosion coming sooner than most people think. He warns when the AI bubble pops, it will send these AI stocks crashing 50% or more. That’s why if you own any tech stocks at all… especially those tech companies claiming to use AI… I urge you to read Porter Stansberry’s new exposé before it’s too late.
