Hi {NAME}, It's funny how the timing of the year can affect businesses. Flower businesses make most of their profit during Valentine's Day / Mother's day. Some retails generate as much as 40% of the yearly revenue in just December alone. So it's safe to say that the timing of the year can affect your campaigns. Here are some examples how: 1. Know how certain holidays / time of the year affect conversion rates. December can be tougher because big brand advertisers increase their budgets for the Christmas rush. Well, we're competing for the same traffic. It can be tougher for us if the bids are higher across the board. 2. Know what offers and verticals are hotter It's obvious diet works well January because of New Years resolutions, and right before the summer. Tax offers are hot starting January. If you're looking for new offers to run, maybe the time of the year can influence what you run. 3. What angles work better You can change the angles of your campaigns to match any holidays or events coming up. [Create More Profitable Angles /w This 1 Weird Trick > > >] 4. How the Holidays of other cultures affect your business Affiliate marketing is international these days, and it helps to know what's going on other cultures. Here's an example that may affect you if you're running an e-commerce store. Chinese New Year starts January 27th and lasts for a week. (Shoutout to my fellow Asians celebrating this) It's a huge deal in China where everything shuts down. (Think of it like Christmas) What if you're running an e-commerce store and dropshipping items from China? If the company you're working with isn't working for a week, then your orders might not get fulfilled. That means a lot of unhappy customers. No fulfilled orders for a week -> Late shipping -> Unhappy customers -> Chargebacks -> Lose merchant account You see a problem coming ahead, now come up with a solution. a. Talk to your merchant to see if they can fulfill the orders during this time. b. Switch to working with someone else c. Pause your campaigns or slow down the orders. // Affiliate Summit West Is This Weekend! You guys know that 90% of the networking is done outside of the main event.
