Hey {NAME}, I just came back from Lisbon, Portugal. I was there for The European Summit where I was the Keynote speaker. [image] It's crazy if you think about it. I joined this space just to make some extra cash. I didn't think I'd end up traveling the world for conferences and even speaking. The longer I'm in this industry the more grateful I am to have discovered it. Yea there are some other spaces that make great money, but they don't offer the freedom that being an affiliate does. Most people think about freedom as being able to travel anytime we want, or not having to wake up to an alarm clock. My friend told me a great story yesterday. He quit his job and went full-time a few months ago. His favorite part? His son was born last year and he gets to watch him grow up. He'd miss so many moments working 10 hours a day + 2 hours a day stuck in traffic. We all want more money and freedom, but what does that mean to you? I'll be speaking once more in Afiliados Brazil. Sao Paulo, Brazil. May 24, 25, 26 2018. // WHERE TO FIND EMPLOYEES? A common pain point for building a team is where to actually find employees. Yea you could go to LinkedIn and Craigslist, but wouldn’t it be awesome to hire someone who’s familiar with the space? A new site just launched for hiring in this space from the guys behind STM. I share some hiring tips and some info about this new site. [A Secret Weapon to Hiring Employees > > >]( // RANDOM THOUGHTS 1. I’m a month into the Ketogenic diet. (It’s where you limit your carbs and increase fats) My energy is through the roof. I don't have that "afternoon crash" I use to anymore. I'm going to do a full write up in about 1.5 months! 2. March 24th! I’ll be doing an improv comedy show and a Brazilian Jiujitsu tournament in the same day. Purely coincidence it's the same day. Every quarter I asked myself, what can I do to push my comfort zone? Your limiting beliefs are holding you back. You’re capable of much more than you think. But it's hard for us to convince ourselves mentally how awesome we are. Instead, I choose to push myself externally through little challenges. > I didn’t think I could do that. > I do it. > Whoa, I’m more badass than I gave myself credit for > Hmmm...what else can I achieve? 3. Are you rolling with the punches? I love to plan, but I get upset if my plan doesn't go perfectly. Being successful is all about rolling with the punches and being a problem solver. It comes from boxing. If someone punches you, then you should “roll” away from it to lessen the power. Things don’t always go as planned so you need to be able to adapt. I had a day to explore Lisbon and it was raining heavily. I didn't let it rain on my parade. We bought some umbrellas, hanged out in a cafe, and waited until the rain stopped. Then we resume our day. Shet happens. Complaining is a waste of energy and emotions. You gotta roll with the punches in this space. Account banned? CPC’s rising? Sucks, but part of the game. Other people are having the same issues you are, but they're adapting. Are you? Make sure you learn from the problem. Some of these problems could’ve been preventable. I could’ve checked the weather on my trip and realized it’d be raining. I know that now for next time!
