Some friends are asking me if I'm heading to Times Square to celebrate New Year's Eve. Let me think about that. * A million people in a tight area. * It's freezing. 25 degrees. * There are no public restrooms. Everyone around you is wearing Adult Diapers to "solve" this problem. Celebrating NYE in Times Square sounds like the worst idea ever. I can't believe people are flying in from around the world to be tortured. What am I doing instead? I'm staying home. I'll catch up on my Netflix and pop a bottle of Champagne with my bae. I hate drinking and I hate crowds. New Year's eve wasn't created for nerds and introverts like me. So if you wanna stay home, do it. Don't let anyone "shame" you for it. Anyways how's your New Year planning coming along? I just finished mine so I can share some advice. 1. Spend a lot of time reflecting on 2017. Don't let the mistakes you made go to waste. 2. Set 3 goals for the year. I like a goal for work, a goal for health, and a personal goal. Keeps life balanced. Last year mine were moving to NYC, getting my blue belt in BJJ, and making a certain amount of money. Limiting to 3 keeps it simple. Too many goals means none of them get accomplished. 3. Don't try to plan the year out too much. Just figure out where you wanna be a year from now. Establish the vision. Life moves too fast. Instead I go way into detail during the QUARTER. [The 12 week year]( is my shet! I'll be Producing Less Content in 2018 I’m doing a lot less when it comes to my personal brand next year. That means I won't be speaking next year, no more YouTube videos, no more weekly emails, etc. I wanna spend more time on campaigns and other big projects next year, and I gotta cut some things to make space. Aka I need to focus. The good news is I'll still write a new blog post every week, and I'll put more effort into each one. Less, but better. I remember years ago there were at least 10+ active affiliate marketing blogs. Now most of the free information has moved onto forums, podcasts, FB groups, YouTube, etc. I feel like the Last of the Mohicans when it comes to affiliate marketing blogging. But as long as you guys keep reading then I'll keep writing. My goal is to help you become a better affiliate marketer, and a more efficient person. Want Cutting Edge Facebook Advice?
