We’re in good hands with girls like this. We’re in good hands with girls like this. Go on,

We’re in good hands with girls like this. We’re in good hands with girls like this. [Good News] WORLD WATER DAY 2024 [We have a very important question. Are you ready?] [Cilantro=yum]( [Cilantro=yuck]( Go on, weigh in above (and see where the rest of the charity: water community stands). We’re not kidding around here. Wondering what the heck that most controversial of herbs has to do with anything—especially clean water? All will reveal itself in time. In time for World Water Day (March 22), that is. For now, we’re just looking for your hot take, so let’s have it! [Photo of 3 best friends laughing together in Bangladesh] [Photo of 3 best friends laughing together in Bangladesh] [A pilot, a judge, and a doctor walk into a classroom] International Women’s Day has just passed, which means your Instagram feed may have been full of formidable females. A little RBG. Perhaps some Oprah? Maybe an appearance or two from one of the great Gretas of the moment — Thunberg, Gerwig, Lee… But us? Our IWD heroes this year are on the smaller side, but with no less presence than the above. On a recent visit to a school in Southern Bangladesh, our team was positively spellbound by three besties — a future pilot, judge and doctor, thankyouverymuch— who immediately stole the show. Bailey and Tyler were so taken with the trio that they felt compelled to send a voice note in the middle of their trip. Take a listen, and take heart. If these girls are our future, the world is in very capable — and charismatic — hands. [Visualization of the audio message. 3:48 minute listen time]( [Some More Good News] [Image of Ethiopian girl holding a glass of clean water] 17.5 million 18.4 million people served (let’s celebrate!) As of December 31, 2023, the number of people we’ve served (or will soon be served) with clean, safe drinking water has surpassed 18.4 million. That’s an additional 947K+ people in a period of just three months. And of course it wouldn’t be possible without your support — so thank you. [Image of NYC Marathon]( Run for their lives Are you a runner (or wanting to become one)? In New York (or willing to go there)? Do you care about the global water crisis? Silly question — you’re reading this, after all. If you answered yes to the questions above, you might be a good fit for our NYC Marathon team this year. If you’re selected for the team, you’ll be asked to raise $10,000 — enough to change 250 lives for the better. [LEARN MORE]( [An image of women holding dae's hair products]( Hair(care) for women and girls Female-founded, dae offers clean, desert-derived haircare products to create dreamy styles for dawn, afternoon, and evening. And as an ongoing supporter of charity: water, shopping with dae means giving women and girls their time back — so they can find those dreamy, special moments for themselves too. [START SHOPPING]( [Thank you] Every human needs water — but when clean water isn’t available, the burden of finding and collecting it generally falls on women and girls. Which means water is a women’s issue. Reflecting on International Women’s Day, we want to say thank you for being part of a community that helps remove that burden — and frees women and girls to pursue their dreams. Like our new friends in Bangladesh, who no longer have to waste precious time collecting dirty water. We can’t wait to see what they do instead.
