Not if Natalia has anything to say about it. Elected by her peers for her ability to read, write, and maintain progress, Natalia serves as the president of her community’s Water Committee, a group responsible for the sustainability and maintenance of each water project. But leading this committee is far from Natalia’s only responsibility. Before clean water came to her community in Mozambique, she struggled to balance everything on her plate — including her most time-consuming task, walking for water — with attending school. She usually only made it to class once or twice a week. Now, with access to clean water (thanks to supporters like you!), Natalia has all the time she needs to be a leader in her community, support her family, invest in her education, and tackle her biggest dream yet.
