Hey {NAME}, Today is World Water Day. To mark the occasion, our team at charity: water took a more playful approach this year, building out [an interactive experience]( you won’t want to miss — especially if you have strong opinions about things like whether pineapple belongs on pizza. As much as I love a good debate (for the record, I don’t know why you’d ruin pizza with fruit), I’m actually writing to share something else. Recently, I’ve been reflecting on the power of being for something. These days, it seems so easy to hear opinions of what people are against. Especially in an election year — strong opinions come out on both sides of the aisle. But there’s also something powerful about being for something good. Investing in it, committing to it. Uniting with others to see positive change. Since I started charity: water 17 years ago, I’ve found that clean water has enduring power to bring people together. People from different walks of life, different cultures and backgrounds, and even people with radically different political or social views. Clean water for people has always been something we can agree to agree on. It’s a universal common good that, today, 703 million people globally still don’t have access to. The positive forward progress the charity: water community has made, now changing more than 18 million lives, inspires the team and I every day. Specifically, the more than 60,000 members of our monthly giving community, The Spring, have decided that they don’t have to agree on everything to agree on one important thing. Month after month, this community moves us closer to a day when everyone can have access to life’s most basic need — clean water. And these generous givers help bring clean water to more than 41,000 people every month. To me, what’s most inspiring about The Spring community is how faithful these givers are. Some are giving $5 a month. Others, $25 or $50. Each knowing that 100% of whatever they are able to contribute goes directly to build life-saving water projects for people in need (all charity: water staff and overhead costs are covered by a group of 130 generous families). We believe so deeply in the impact of The Spring that right now, in honor of World Water Day, we’re making it [easier than ever to join](. It only takes $3.33 a month to bring clean water to one person every year. Just over $3 a month to stand for something good. It takes less than 30 seconds to become a member of this amazing community, and this is the lowest amount we’ve ever offered — but we believe deeply in the power of community. There’s no risk — you can cancel at any time. It only takes a few seconds and a few dollars. You can join us right now at [charitywater.org](. I do hope that today, World Water Day, you might consider partnering with us, helping to move the world closer to a day when everyone has clean water to drink. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
