I want you to read just 30% of this email. Because I know you're strapped for time, and I have a rat

I want you to read just 30% of this email. Because I know you're strapped for time, and I have a rather important ask of you before I get into this month's Product Updates. “I didn’t even know you guys had that capability all along… You don’t really expect me to read ALL the newsletters I get now, do you?” - Bossman Withapain The advantage of being a SaaS product is getting to continuously push updates and improvements week after week. The challenge, though, lies in getting you to notice. “If only I’d known, that feature could have helped us scale six months sooner!” - Juan Dewey-Golaive I think it’s rather presumptuous on my part to hope for a solution through yet another email newsletter. So here’s my ask - would you be willing to jump on a quick call with us to discuss your pains, plans and goals? What’s in it for you? - Perhaps there’s a direct product use case we could help you with? - Or maybe you’ve been toying with a workaround for something that already exists or is around the corner in our roadmap? - You may even have challenges unrelated to billing, but could use some tips and learnings we’ve managed to pick up from other businesses like yours along the way? So please schedule a quick call with our team here, so we can try and help you take your business to the next level with Chargebee. [Schedule a call]( If you aren’t the calendar-scheduling type, feel free to just hit reply with any questions you may have. Or forward this to a point of contact in your team for Chargebee. If you have a couple of more minutes, let's do a quick round-up of the latest updates in your Chargebee account. What's changed in Chargebee? Quite a bit actually. Through September and October, we’ve been working towards helping you scale and grow - right from helping you foray into new geographies, to removing bottlenecks in your operations and experimenting with your pricing structures. So let's dig in... For e-commerce and physical goods: We’re taking Orders! If you sell physical goods and subscription boxes, you might want to call the last month “Chargebee’s second coming” for you! Orders are now a first-class citizen in Chargebee. You now get to treat your billing & invoicing process and the actual delivery and fulfilment of orders separately. The implications of this update are huge - right from when you ship and what data you share with your shipment partner, to how plan inventory, process refunds and even recognize revenue. [Check out how to enable Orders]( Gearing up for the holiday season? We got a gift for you coming up! Your customers want to gift your boxes to their friends, and that’s an opportunity you should pick up on. We’re now close to launching Gift Subscriptions in Chargebee. Reply to this thread with your questions, thoughts, or use-cases and we’d be glad to give you preview access. More payment options: Go big, Go global, All from your checkout You now have more options, customizations, and flexibility to de-risk high ARPU subscribers from credit card issues and accept direct debits: - [Chargebee now supports SEPA payments using Stripe](. If you sell in Europe and use Stripe, you can now comfortably move your subscribers to direct debit. - [If you use GoCardless to process direct debit transactions, you can create your mandates right from within the Chargebee Checkout](. As a GoCardless Pro user, you even get to customize compliance emails and notifications with your brand. - [Chargebee + Adyen now let you scale geographies faster](. Adyen's been growing big - processing close to €70 billion in transaction volume last quarter. And you can now expand your footprint into 250+ global (and local) payment methods right from your Chargebee checkout through Adyen. More flexible pricing models (and no code!) This month we've launched the biggest update to the pricing models in Chargebee. In addition to the previous models of charging your customers a flat fee month on month, or a standard amount per unit, you can now also evaluate a [volume-based, tiered and stair-step pricing model]( to make it more appealing for customers to buy higher quantities. Automate Your Cancelation workflow We’ve taken the first step towards helping you automate your entire subscription workflow with close to zero developer dependency. You now have granular control in [managing your subscription cancellations]( with the ability to prorate, charge the card for due invoices, waive off unbilled charges and much more, right from the app. That about sums up the main product updates this month. I'm sure you're brimming with a hundred thoughts and ideas about how you can leverage these capabilities in your business. Hit us up here and let's crack that growth problem together. Why are we obsessed about talking to you? I wouldn't say I don't appreciate surveys, emails, NPS scores and the hundred other proxies to getting your thoughts. But, honestly, I don't think there's ever a shortcut to actually talking to your customers. We make it a point to meet customers in the neighborhood everytime we travel. And each time we come back with a whole load of thoughts, feedback, reality-check and inspiration. And that’s how we met Skyroam, among other customers. Here goes… Krish (our CEO) and I met Skyroam, a Chargebee customer, last month in San Francisco. One hour spent with the team opened up avenues to understand their growth plans and suggest ways for them to scale faster. For instance, they learnt that they could scale to new geographies by accepting multiple currencies. Or that they could streamline their ops with our Accounting and CRM integrations. Or even maximize revenue opportunities by routing their transactions to region-specific payment gateway partners. And then, there were a few areas in their plans for the future that were solved by some recent capabilities we'd just rolled out - like offering a tiered pricing model out-of-the-box with the new Pricing Models we'd just launched. And for us, that one hour we spent in a meeting room discussing Skyroam's workflows, tools, processes and plans for the year ahead, and how it all ties back to our roadmap at Chargebee were more fun than the entire in-flight entertainment we had on our 19-hour flight from India. And more useful than any market research we could have done. PS: If you travel quite often and hate not having a steady internet connection, check out [Skyroam here](. Britain - Let's meet! There’s nothing quite like meeting face to face. Krish and some of the product team would be in the UK next week. If you're around hit us up with a reply and let's catch up! Thanks for reading. Vikram Bhaskaran Director - Marketing, Chargebee PPS: Whew! That was one LONG email. In the future, I promise I'll try and keep it shorter.
