We are late. But the updates are worth the wait! Hello there, It’s been a while. Not because we had no updates. Not because we had GDPR compliance breathing down our necks. Not because we don’t care. Quite the contrary! We have some exciting product updates to share with you. We launched a new product. [We are very very GDPR-compliant](. In fact, we've now built the ability to [capture consent from your customers]( right through Chargebee, so you can be GDPR compliant with your customers. We care about you, and we care about your customers' last mile interaction with your business. The last mile in any product lies between the simple availability of a feature and extracting its value to grow businesses. The last couple of months have been about delivering the “last mile” value for your business. Last mile in decisions, last mile in collections, and last mile in going global. Here goes. Last mile for better decisions [RevenueStory]( [Pro, Rise, Scale, and Enterprise plans] This one is huge! We launched RevenueStory, the second product from the Chargebee stable, because, we believe MRR should be everyone’s problem in your organization - not just yours. RevenueStory is built on top of Chargebee so you can drill deeper into the things that impact your revenue growth and drive key decisions. RevenueStory is designed to help you identify the levers driving revenue, subscriptions, signups, activations, churn and a host of other metrics that you need to make impactful decisions. If you are on Chargebee’s Rise, Scale, or Enterprise Plans, including the now-grandfathered Pro plan, you have access to RevenueStory already. Visit the demo site (the big orange button) in case you’d prefer taking a tour of the product yourself. Or write to support@revenuestory.io in case of any questions. [Try Out RevenueStory Demo]( Last Mile in Improved Collections [Smart Dunning]( [Scale Plan] Chargebee’s blazing new “Smart Dunning” just got a facelift! Smart dunning optimizes payment recovery based on each customer's historical transactional data, determines the best time to retry and a number of attempts that provide the best recovery rate. Send contextual reminder emails for a specific segment of customers, optimized for their response times. Smart Dunning also supports recovery for direct debit payments. Smart Dunning now also handles invalid payments, that would have otherwise resulted in immediate subscription cancellation. Now you can choose to hold on to these customers by leaving their subscriptions active, and trigger dunning attempts to engage with, and retain them instead. [Australian Direct Debit via GoCardless]( [All Plans] Australia saw almost [36% of non-cash transactions made via Direct Debit in 2017]( and the number is set to grow by 2018. If you are selling in Australia, your customers can pay via Australian Direct Debit (BECS) payment method using GoCardless as well. At the moment, this is available only via Hosted Pages. Contact GoCardless support to get it enabled in your GoCardless account. [ACH Credit Transfer via Stripe]( [Rise Plan and Above] Chargebee now supports ACH Credit Transfer via Stripe. This offers a powerful alternate payment method to your high ARPU customers and de-risks their transactions from credit card limits, expiry, and expenses. Of course, one huge problem with most offline transactions is reconciliation. It’s a mess to just untangle which customers transferred what amount to your account and keep your books updated. Chargebee’s new ACH Credit Transfer via Stripe sets up a virtual bank account for your business against each customer, so all payments to it are reconciled automatically. [Add payment instructions to your invoice]( Your customizable invoice is equipped to add your bank account information in a new section. With this update, you can now add the virtual bank account number for each customer in their respective invoices automatically. Last mile in going global [The tale of multilingual transactional emails]( [All Plans] Chargebee’s Email notifications V2 has the ability to send out emails in multiple languages establishing an enhanced personal engagement with customers speaking in their native language. We support French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and German with the ability to edit the content in the UI itself. We crafted a cleaner UI which allows you to easily make changes, preview and create drafts before pushing them live. Contact [Chargebee support](mailto:support@chargebee.com) to list a language that has not been mentioned. Please feel free to write to me, or to support@chargebee.com in case of any questions. We would love to hear your comments and feedback. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
