The round of growth capital is led by Insight Venture Partners Hello, I’m excited to share that we’ve raised $18 Million of growth capital in Series C, led by Insight Venture Partners. Thank you for all your support. Insight Venture Partners is based out of New York. They are an active investor in a number of companies that we look up to, including Shopify, Hootsuite, Campaign Monitor, Docker, and many more. Our existing investors Accel and Tiger Global Management also participated in this round. As a founder, I’m immensely proud of the fantastic team of 135+, operating out of Chennai and San Francisco. In the process of obsessing over the finer details of billing and payments for businesses that care deeply about the subscription experience, we’ve learnt that delivering experiences cuts across different teams. This realization shapes our product roadmap as we build the best billing system that enables relations, beyond simply subscriptions. We are now 7000+ customers strong in 50+ countries across different stages of growth — small, medium, and enterprises. Looking back at the last 24 months, we are even more proud of the unexpected impact we have created for global entrepreneurs. In Feb 2016, we introduced the freemium tier (first $50K of invoicing free) as a pricing experiment to learn how we can make a better case for businesses to start with us, rather than building it themselves (a case for build vs. buy). The unexpected impact with our freemium model, however, was this — we have helped early-stage companies process over $65 Million USD of Invoices by for free. The money that we could have collected as revenue dwarfs in comparison to the collective value that these global businesses have been able to create. I am honoured to do even a small portion of what AWS and SendGrid did for us in the early days, and continue to do for many startups. This could not have happened without the support of paying customers of Chargebee. Thank you for being a part of this journey. With this investment, we will continue investing in building a better product, along with a global team that’s closer to your business. Help us share this milestone using [this]( link](. As always, if there is any feedback, please feel free to write back to us. Looking forward to growing together. Regards, Krish Subramanian Co-Founder and CEO, Chargebee. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
