The following was sent out last week... really good informtaion, here it is again in case you missed it. Change That Up sat down with Matt Cook, a Health Researcher that recently was interviewed by ABC News. He share with us an amazing story and we wanted to pass this important information with you today. FW : For 25 years I traveled the world and discovered the WEIRD practices by men who are living to 120... What these long-lived men told me was so OPPOSITE to all the typical health advice... ...it was weird, the more I adopted these weird practices from the world’s oldest men, the healthier I got... One day my wife said, “you should write this in a book. Men need to hear it. They’re not getting it from doctors, that’s for sure…” And I put every single one of my discoveries in one place -- a book I call “Healthy to 120.” I call it that because I truly plan on living to 120 thanks to these weird practices by men living to 120 and scientists who study them… And these are all the things that worked for me -- and they’re already working for thousands of other men too. Here’s just a few of the things you’ll find in my Healthy to 120 book: - I had to get up 3 times a night to urinate. My doctor said my prostate was inflamed, so that it was impinging on my bladder. My wife was tired and cranky because I was waking her up all the time with my bathroom trips. Finally, I started applying a particular over-the-counter substance and now I sleep through the night. I have a normal sized prostate and no more problems. (page 101 of the Healthy to 120 book) - When my blood pressure started creeping up, instead of going on a pill that may give me terrible, unwanted side effects… I found a simple two minute “tweak” that has helped me get to normal blood pressure naturally. At my last doctor visit, my doctor saw my blood pressure reading and said, “Whatever you’re doing, keep it up!” (page 139) - I reviewed many of the so-called “superfoods” that are supposed to help prevent cancer. Thanks to my findings, I’m no longer afraid of getting cancer because of what I learned and what I’m doing today. I’ll lay out my complete findings and my plan that I personally use to hopefully prevent cancer. (page 96) - When my male hormones were low, I realized that some of the fats in my diet were probably hurting my hormone levels. Now that I have made some simple nutritional changes, I am enjoying good energy, strong muscles, and healthy male hormone levels. (page 243) - What I discovered about the longest living people on Earth -- two secret foods they eat, and one secret they ALL avoid. I implemented this immediately and I hope these two simple changes let me live to age 120. Is it the chocolate they eat, the cigarettes they smoke, the liquor they drink?
