Hey you! TBH, it’s been a rough week. Usually, this weekly email is meant to entertain you with funny anecdotes, travel escapades, or share my latest Amazon obsessions. But today, I just need to keep it 💯. Listen, I consider myself an eternal optimist, someone who finds silver linings, even when life isn’t cute. My faith helps, but it's also in my DNA to see the good amidst the chaos. But try as I might - sometimes there’s just no escaping the suck. This week we had to say goodbye to a beloved member of our family. I wasn’t ready. Losing a cherished presence is always a heartbreaking experience, even if they've grown old and frail. This loss hit close to home, leaving a void that will take some time to get used to. But that wasn't the end of our turbulent week. Shortly after our farewell, another family member had an accident that sent us racing to the emergency room. It's not life-threatening, thankfully, but sitting in the ER, surrounded by strangers with their own stories, just made me realize how fragile life really is. [image]() Life has an uncanny way of reminding us how precious each moment is, and this week was no exception. And as if the family stuff wasn't enough, on the same day as all of the above, I learned a very private moment I shared with my highest level Patreon members (The Vault) had been made public by one of our members. Not only did this person break confidence by sharing an inaccurate account, out of context, but they decided to put me, my ethics, my faith and my relationship with my husband on blast and asked others who had never heard the original episode to join in. Of course that drama unfolded on Facebook (duh!). Social media drama RARELY gets to me. It goes with the territory. But this b*tch picked the wrong day to come for me. 🔪💀🚫 Solution? Blessed and blocked, bye Becky. Remember that people who are happy with their own lives, don’t spend time trying to stir up chaos in others. Now, if you're invested, need all the details, and can handle seeing me "not so positive," I invite you to watch the full YouTube [Lifer Update on today’s Chalene Show](=). It’s a rollercoaster of an episode, so bring your waterproof mascara, and maybe a glass of champagne. As for those people who seem to bring or chase drama - have you ever considered if by chance that might be you??? I have. If you’ve wondered if it’s them or you watch [my recent YouTube](=) where I talk about how to identify who might be the problem in your relationships. [image]() So yeah, it’s been a week and tomorrow will be better! It’s 11:11! (Be sure to comment “I got your email!l under the videos so I know you’re a lifer!). Note to self - it’s okay to have bad days, bad weeks and even a few bad months. You’re human. But don’t get too comfortable there. Love ya, mean it! Chalene P.S. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
