Hey there! I canât wait to share this⦠Youâve probably noticed a ton of hype lately around weight loss injectables. A 2022 study published in the National Library of Medicine titled, The Role of Magnesium in the Pathogenesis of Metabolic Disorders, found that magnesium deficiency resulted in a slower metabolic rate, increased adipose tissue (fluff), increased inflammation, increased risk of type 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, and decreased glucose function, just to name a few. WHAT!?!?! Stated another way: insufficient magnesium might explain why a lot of people are walking around tired, moody and extra fluffy. But here's the kicker â magnesium comes in seven different forms, each with its own unique superpower and specific function (most supplements only have one or two of those forms). #notgoodenough Of course, magnesium can be found naturally in many foods: pumpkin seeds, cashews, some whole grains and black beans. You can always ask your doctor for a supplement recommendation, but at a minimum be sure to look for supplements with a GMP certification.
