Not going to lie, this has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. A few days ago, Bret and I off

Not going to lie, this has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. A few days ago, Bret and I officially moved out of our beach home. Hey Friend, Here’s me... Writing this email from the bedroom floor of our Airbnb in Park City, Utah. Not going to lie, this has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. That said — I would never let your weekly newsletter slip through the cracks. Bottom line: I’m nothing if not dedicated to you. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Goodbye, California A few days ago, Bret and I officially moved out of our beach home. We’re hitting the road for 8 freaking months! And, because we decided to rent out our place, the preparation has been on another level daunting… I’m talking: - storing our valuables off the premises - creating shelf, drawer and hanging areas for renters’ belongings - emptying the refrigerator and pantry - and, like, a million more things! It was no joke. But I’m happy to say she’s ready and stunning… [image]( Packing Can I be honest? Trying to decide what to bring — and fit it all in TWO suitcases — was way more challenging than overhauling our entire home. How do you even pack 14 pairs of heels AND clothes for all the climates? [image] But you know your girl. When there’s a deadline, she gets the job done. Even if it’ll always be at the most possible last second EVER. (thank you, ADHD) Make sure you’re [following my Instagram]() for up-to-the-minute travel fun! My birthday Yesterday I turned 54! And dude, my DMs have been flooded with: - “What can I get you?” - “What’s your address?” - “What’s your fave brand of ____?” Trust me, I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of it. However, - I DO NOT like a big deal to be made of my bday. Never did. - I don’t like gifts (or parties) in my honor. - I like to be acknowledged with words. THAT is really important to me. To feel seen. Sooooo, the most amazing gift I could receive is words of affirmation. More specifically, in the form of a podcast review! Here are some from just the past few days… [image] [image] [image] If you want to make this birthday girl’s wish come true, I would freak out if you left a review for: [The Chalene Show]() [Build Your Tribe](=) Just scroll down a tiny bit, and then tap on Write a Review. (for Apple/iTunes) It’s like Christmas to me whenever a new review pops up! My stalker. Speaking of the podcast… Bret wouldn’t let me record a new episode for today’s Friday release. You know, take a day off for some bday fun! I have no regrets. [image] But — I did release something I’ve NEVER done before on the regular podcast. I shared a private Patreon episode with you! You’ll hear [a very traumatic story]( (I’ve never shared publicly) about a frightening experience with a stalker who… eventually… choked me. And if you’re the least bit intrigued to learn more about Patreon (where you’ll find endless super personal content), you can take a peek [RIGHT HERE!]( One last thing… Aging The older I get, the more I realize there’s nothing to fear about aging. - You get smarter, wiser, richer, more confident - You have more freedom - You stop caring about dumb people’s opinions And all those things make you more attractive. Dare I say, I look better now than I did in my 20’s. [image] Aging only sucks if your attitude about it sucks. So, get excited! Love you, mean it. Chalene P.S. While packing for 8 months was the most insane project ever, there was ONE item that was a fast "must bring!" no-brainer. Organifi!!! Crazy? Maybe. But true! Let me rewind for just a sec... At the height of my fitness career, I lived on protein shakes and protein bars. And they made me gassy, bloated and uncomfortable. The second I stopped consuming those things, I never had gas again. Needless to say, I’ve been hesitant (afraid, actually!) to try ANY other protein powders since. On a whim, though, I recently ordered the chocolate protein powder from Organifi, and... No gas, no bloat, no triggers, no nothing. But that’s not a surprise. Organifi is THE company I trust for so many of my nutritional needs. Now, while I try to eat real whole foods most of the time, let's face it… I’m not always going to be perfect, much less get in all of my nutrients (especially while traveling!). That’s why Organifi has become my lifeline — having everything from juices to chocolate to "tea"! You basically just mix with water and get whatever nutrients you might be missing from your diet to improve your: - brain health - immune system - sleep - digestion - hormones And did I mention they’re 100% organic? This weekend you’ll [get 20% off when you GO HERE](=) and use code: Chalene. Don’t miss out!
