×"× [Chanukah]( begins Thursday evening, December 7, and continues through Friday, December 15 [Menorah]( Dear Friend, Chanukah comes as our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land battle for their lives and for the future of the free world. And Jews all over the world are feeling the dark cloud of hatred and antisemitism. Oh, are we ready for Chanukahâs message of good over evil and light over darkness! The Rebbe taught us that Chanukah flames remind us that, as in the past, G-d is at our side, protecting us, guiding us, and bringing spiritual light to the darkness that swirls outside. And as we [add another flame each night]( (taking care to light on Friday afternoon before the [Shabbat candles]( and on Saturday night after Shabbat is over), revel in the additional gift of spiritual light that each one brings. With wishes for a Chanukah filled with spiritual light, - Your Friends @ Chabad.org PS: Exactly 50 years ago, the Rebbe penned [this Chanukah message]( to Jewish people everywhere. Itâs as relevant today as it was then.
