On Rosh Hashanah we are each granted new energies and vitality. It’s up to you -- and each of us -- to elevate our own selves and the entire world. [A CALL TO ACTION]( By the Grace of G‑d Dear Friend, In these final hours preceding the Jewish New Year, I'd like to share a thought with you, along with a request: We are soon going to be steeped in blessings and supplications, apples and honey, tear-drenched prayer books and festively-set tables. Our heartfelt prayers (joined by the shofar’s piercing sound on the second day) will supersede our physical selves and unite with all others in supplication before the Heavenly Throne. [Shanah Tovah]( And it is there that much of the Rosh Hashanah drama will unfold: A new life-force — a spiritual energy never before revealed — will emerge to sustain the world. Qualitatively, it’ll be greater than the life-force of any previous year, and will cause the entire world to be renewed. And though we will not see this profound renewal physically, its effects will be very real: In our personal lives we’ll be able to achieve things we couldn't — or wouldn't, or just didn't — before. We will be granted new opportunities to deepen our relationship with G‑d; and to practice and connect in ways we might have once considered too difficult, or even out of reach. Indeed, the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, would frequently expound upon the power every individual has to tip the balance of the entire world to merit and goodness! And we’ll be fortified with new strength to handle any challenges that we might face. On the global level, the vitality of this new G‑dly life-force will shield and safeguard His people Israel and all of humankind for the entire year to come. --------------------------------------------------------------- Our Sages tell us that when we emulate G‑d to provide new life to others with generosity and love, this paves the way for the awesome gift of Rosh Hashanah, the gift of new life, that G‑d lovingly grants every one of us. Your gift of $36 – or any amount that’s right for you – will help so many precious souls find meaning, serenity and inspiration. It will literally give them life — when they most need it! [Please grant the world — and yourself — the gift of life!]( [PLEASE BECOME A PARTNER TODAY!]( --------------------------------------------------------------- At Chabad.org, this year’s new lifeforce means a greater-than-ever commitment from us to you to provide ever more compelling content, tools and access points to nourish people's minds and hearts, connect them to G-d’s Torah and mitzvos, and help all achieve inner peace and calm. However, in order to fully meet the urgent needs of all who flock to us for help, we really need to secure the funding to keep going stronger than ever! To accomplish this, and to help further evoke G‑d's all-new blessings to grant the world a sweet new year — we seek 13,000 partners to participate generously in our High Holiday Appeal, so we can meet people’s urgent needs!
