I see people looking for help. I read what’s bothering them. And I feel their pain. [Chabad.org]( By the Grace of G‑d 27 Kislev, 5783 - Third Day of Chanukah December 21, 2022 Dear Friend, I hope this note finds you and yours well and fully enjoying Chanukah! I’m writing today because we could really use your help. Like a receiving resident in the emergency room, I do the “triage” for the flood of questions and life concerns we receive ‘round the clock at Chabad.org. I process the incoming emails, prioritize them, and assign each to an appropriate rabbi, counselor, or teacher. I see the people looking for help. I read the questions that are bothering them. And I feel their pain. I see… - …the young woman mourning her mother and looking for a Jewish perspective on how to deal with pain, loss, and a broken heart. - …the person who is “down in the dumps” - worrying about the economy, and is looking for spiritual refreshment, something to uplift and re-energize him. - …the family who is struggling with their children’s Jewish education. - …the people who are looking for insight, inspiration and straightforward answers about life’s most challenging dilemmas. - …the senior who spends 80% of his time in bed… feeling extremely alone, pondering his 89 years, and looking for someone to remind him why and how to celebrate. I’m reaching out to you to help them, because I see first hand what they are going through. It is really gut-wrenching. The volume of these requests has been staggering, kind of like drinking from a firehose… Our team works around the clock to meet the pressing and diverse needs of so many from all walks of life. But they really need a hand from people like yourself to provide the funds to keep this all going. Indeed, friends like you have been with us all along to help those in need. Your giving makes it all possible. [Please donate here.]( Please note! We will be closing our giving page in honor of Shabbat on Friday, December 23rd, at 4:15 p.m. (candle-lighting time in New York City). G-d calls us to set aside Shabbat — so if you know you would like to help, please don’t let the time get away from you! No person is insignificant, no task too difficult, and no goal insurmountable to help every single individual worldwide! Would you please partner with us? With the end of 2022 so close, we can really use your help now! [PLEASE DONATE NOW!]( Please consider selecting a recurring donation to keep your gifts producing results throughout the year.
