It’s a festival laden with unique mitzvahs and quality time with our community and family, all with an extra-large serving of joy. This year, the holiday has added significance. It is a [Hakhel year]( when, in Biblical times, the entire nation [would gather in Jerusalem]( to hear the king read from the Torah.
