Our hearts and minds are with our brothers and sisters in Israel. Our social media feeds, email inboxes, evening headlines and phone lines [Chabad.org]( [View Online]( ב"ה [Special Message from Chabad.org]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Editor's Note Our hearts and minds are with our brothers and sisters in Israel. Our social media feeds, email inboxes, evening headlines and phone lines carry ominous reports of troubled times in Israel. Rockets are raining down on towns and cities all over, there have already been [heart-wrenching civilian casualties]( and war looms. Our extended Jewish family is under fire. Is there anything we can do? Most of us are hundreds or thousands of miles away, in our own communities. Yet our very being cries out: How can we help? Yes, there is something we can do. We stand just days away from [Shavuot]( the 3,333rd anniversary of the year we stood together at Sinai, united as one, to receive the Torah and its mitzvahs from G-d. A mitzvah, a G‑dly deed, has the power to reach deep into [the core of our being]( we are all one. At this core, a positive deed on our part can help bring peace and goodness to this troubled world. Our mitzvahs, no matter how small they may seem, perpetuate the legacies of those who have fallen, and ensure the continued safety of our brothers and sisters under attack. Also, if you know someone who is currently under fire, reach out. Call, write an email, leave them a voice note, or otherwise let them know that you remember them, are praying for them, and care about them. [Take a minute and log your mitzvah today.]( With wishes for a joyful and uplifting Shavuot, Your friends at Chabad.org [With Our Unity, We Can Help Our Brethren in Israel]( [With Our Unity, We Can Help Our Brethren in Israel]( By Dovid Margolin [Read]( [At Least Six Dead, Scores Injured in Israel as Over 1,000 Missiles Launched from Gaza]( [At Least Six Dead, Scores Injured in Israel as Over 1,000 Missiles Launched from Gaza]( Jewish homes, synagogues, cars torched by rioting Arab mobs; IDF strikes back at Hamas By Yaakov Ort [Read]( [Do a Mitzvah for Israel]( [Do a Mitzvah for Israel]( Our mitzvahs, no matter how small they may seem, perpetuate the legacies of those who have fallen, and ensure the continued safety of our brothers and sisters under attack.
