This year, many of us will be without physical Torahs in our hands, but inviting G‑d into our personal space and porting the sublime Simchat Torah energy directly into our homes... [Chabad.org]( ב"ה [View Online Version]( [Celebrate the Holiday of Simchat Torah!]( Dear Friend, Chag sameach! A happy and joyous holiday to you and yours! From the intense joy and celebration of the past seven days of [Sukkot]( we are raised yet higher this evening to the lofty spiritual heights of the [Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah]( holiday (October 9-11). Typically on Simchat Torah we express our unbridled joy over our relationship with G‑d by dancing communally and uninhibitedly with ever-intensifying intent, serenading G‑d and circling with His Torah scrolls ‘round and ‘round the sanctuary. This year, however, while some of us might replicate parts of that (amid careful social distancing regulations), most of us will be celebrating in our homes. However, even while physically distanced from our Torahs and our communities, we will be spiritually closer than ever before! Our Simchat Torah this year is rife with unprecedented holy energy to help us supersede the limitations of our physical reality and tap into our true selves, our complete oneness with G‑d and His Torah, and with one another. Let’s invite G‑d directly into our personal space and tap into His sublime Simchat Torah energy by celebrating His Torah in our homes, dancing and singing alone (and/or with family) with unbridled joy. To help in this hyper-personal yet super-global endeavor, we prepared these [10 Tips for an Amazing Simchat Torah at home]( [Yizkor at-home instructions]( and lots of [inspiration]( and [learning]( to keep you dancing in your living room for 48 hours straight. We wish you an unprecedentedly joyous (and healthy!) holiday and year to come! Your friends @ Chabad.org P.S. On Simchat Torah we begin the annual Torah study cycle anew. This is the optimal time to get on board with the daily study track, so that you will complete the entire Torah and Rashi by next Simchat Torah ([start here](.
