CEX. IO has received a temporary registration status with the FCA pending the determination of our application [alt_text] [FCA] Dear customer, We would like to inform you that CEX. IO has been temporarily registered as a cryptoasset business by the FCA until 9 July 2021, pending the determination of our application by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). CEX. IO submitted the application to register with the FCA well before the required deadline of December 16, 2020 and we are in the late stages of the process. The final decision has not been reached however. To allow cryptoasset companies to carry on their activities while their applications are pending, the FCA announced a temporary registration regime for them. Thus, we are authorised to continue serving our customers while waiting for FCA to review our application. We will share any future updates to the application status as soon as further information becomes available. Thank you for your trust and support. CEX.
