The two big events with the potential to move the market this week have come and gone without causing too much volatility. [Header]( The PCE Brings Us One Step Closer to Rate Cuts Dear reader, The two big events with the potential to move the market this week have come and gone without causing too much volatility. Nvidia’s (NVDA) second-quarter earnings report confirmed that the artificial intelligence (AI) boom is here for the long term – even if the related stocks need to take a short-term breather. It has nothing to do with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other crypto you’ve likely heard about… But it's by far my #1 investment opportunity for 2024. It’s from a little-known asset I call “Crypto Royalties.” [Click here for all the details.]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Before we catch up on this week’s Market Insights articles, here’s one last reminder… The S&P 500 is back within 1% of all-time highs, and the Dow hit a new record level last week. That means stocks are in a bull market. Don’t listen to the nonsense out there that tries to tell you otherwise. Monday: The FedWatch Tool has the odds of the Fed beginning its interest rate cut cycle at its September 18 meeting at 100%. Is that good or bad for stocks? And considering there’s always a bull market somewhere, where might that be over the next 16 months? [Click here to read How to Prepare for Rate Cuts.]( Tuesday: A large part of my job involves traveling around the globe to uncover the next big investment opportunities. My diet is important to me, which leads to difficult decisions when it comes to where to eat. But it also means I know which eateries are better than their peers. I understand that there’s hesitancy in believing that water is an investable commodity. But I guarantee that this new episode of the SteadyTrade Podcast will have you viewing water investments in a whole new light. [Click here to read This Commodity Could Spark the Next World War.]( [STEP 14]( Thursday: The market hasn’t done much over the past week. The S&P 500 has drifted, the Nasdaq has pulled back, and the Dow has also fallen despite notching a fresh closing high on Monday. As Imre Gams explains, what you do during these kinds of conditions can make or break your confidence as a trader. [Click here to read How to Adjust to the Changing Market Environment.]( Friday: The biggest event of the week – and possibly the entire month – was Nvidia’s second-quarter earnings report released after the bell on Wednesday. The posterchild of the AI megatrend saw solid numbers, but they were received with a mixed response.
