And don’t miss Ask the Pros at noon ET! [image] CHART OF THE DAY: My Updated Projection for the Second Half of March At noon ET today, March 17, it’s time for [another edition of Ask the Pros!]() There’s so much to talk about — banks crashing, CPI, PPI and the Federal Reserve, for starters... And we’ll discuss it during our live Ask the Pros session when Roger Scott, Fausto Pugleise and Tom Busby join me at noon ET today. And then Don Yocham will join me at 1:05 p.m. ET for Ask the Pros Premium! Now for today’s chart… While no one was hoping for bank failures this month, we’ve experienced the anticipated seasonal chop over the first two weeks of March. Review my newsletter published March 2 for a refresher, and a projection for the second half of the month. As far as the bigger monthly picture, here’s the S&P 500 Futures (ESH23) projection I published March 6… [image] Now here’s the projection updated, with price action as of Thursday night. It uses the June Futures contract (ESM23), which I pointed out on Monday, so note the slight difference in price... [image] It’s hard to believe that a little seasonal, cyclical, technical and fundamental analysis could come this close to laying out the future of the S&P 500 with its volatile sectors. We’re not out of the woods, though... That yellow box still represents the 50- and 200-day moving averages, and the dotted red box still represents a significant warning zone. When the Federal Reserve returns next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, be watchful! December lows and March highs could all be seen in one day. I’m not expecting both, but we’ll see what the market has in store. Think and win! Celeste Lindman Celeste Lindman Trading It’s Everyone’s Favorite Day of the Week!
