But when sh*t got real, he ran out the back door like a coward – away from the same people he was claiming to support just hours earlier. What’s even more ridiculous? Since that day, Hawley has desperately tried to convince all of us that he’s the authority on what it means to be a man in this country. He even published a whole book about it last year: Well … when I think about manhood, I think about courage. And that’s not something you can write a book about. Missouri is the Show Me State. As a born-and-raised Missourian who joined the Marines to serve the community that took care of him growing up, Lucas has already shown us that he knows the true meaning of courage.
