From the Delaware River to the Pocono Mountains, Northeastern Pennsylvania's natural landscape is so

From the Delaware River to the Pocono Mountains, Northeastern Pennsylvania's natural landscape is some of our nation's most beautiful. {NAME}, From the Delaware River to the Pocono Mountains, Northeastern Pennsylvania's natural landscape is some of our nation's most beautiful. Not only does our landscape provide Pennsylvanians with a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking and fishing, but it also provides an abundance of natural resources and jobs. Our environment is critical to people across the 8th District, but right now, we're facing a devastating climate crisis. From floods to rising temperatures, the effects of climate change can already be felt here in PA-08 and across the country. {NAME} รขย€ย“ It's clear that climate change is going to fundamentally alter our lives in the coming decades. With scientists agreeing that it is one of the biggest threats this country faces, we need to take action now to combat this growing crisis. Protecting our planet for generations to come has always been one of my top priorities. That's why I was proud to help pass the Inflation Reduction Act last year. This legislation made the largest investment in climate solutions ever, including boosting clean energy manufacturing in the United States, investing in a reliable electric grid, providing home energy efficiency rebates, and more. I'm also taking a stand against extremist attacks on our environment. Republicans in the House recently introduced H.R. 1 รขย€ย“ nicknamed "Polluters Over People." This bill does not create energy independence or save people money. Instead, it lines the pockets of Big Oil and polluters and gets rid of bedrock protections for clean air and water. This is unacceptable, which is why I voted against this harmful legislation. As your congressman, I'll always fight to protect our planet and create clean energy jobs. [On this Earth Day, will you add your name now to stand with me in the fight to combat the climate crisis?]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Thank you, Matt Last year, Matt Cartwright was one of only 5 Democrats to win a House race in a district that Donald Trump carried in 2020. He's gearing up for another tough re-election, and he needs your support to keep PA-08 blue. Rush a donation right away to help Matt protect his seat.
