Thankful, grateful, and humbled

And I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to represent NY-12 for another term. The coronavirus pandemic has hit our country hard with far-reaching effects. So many people have experienced extreme losses from loved ones to housing to jobs. Through it all, there have been instances of hope that I am deeply thankful for. Random acts of kindness. Communities coming together to run food and clothing drives. Essential workers committed to providing critical services. And our medical workers on the frontlines dedicated to public health. During this tough year, we've continued to see a large divide when it comes to politics and societal conflicts. That's why it's so important to have a leader who will unify us with compassion, humility, and grace. Therefore, I'm also grateful that our nation elected a president who will help guide us through these difficult times and lead us to recovery. I know that this hasn't been an easy year.
