Help me fight for a NONPARTISAN postal service

Since Postmaster General DeJoy, one of Trump's mega-donors, was appointed, he's wreaked havoc on the Postal Service, and I'm doing everything I can in Congress to hold him and Trump responsible for the damage they've caused — particularly with rising concerns of how these operational issues will interfere with our elections. First — I introduced the Delivering for America Act to reverse all of DeJoy's detrimental changes and block further unwarranted revisions until after the election. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi swiftly summoned the House back early from recess for an emergency vote on the bill, and it passed. Then — As Chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee, I called for Postmaster DeJoy to testify in front of the House panel to explain his actions and demand an immediate reversal of his decisions. Not only did he decline this request, but he has refused to voluntarily submit pertinent Postal Service documents regarding his newly implemented policies. Since he is not complying, I plan to issue him a subpoena to acquire the documents, as they are critical to our investigation into Trump and DeJoy's unethical politicization of the USPS. And now — I have recently introduced another bold piece of legislation to directly counter the prejudicial attacks on our Post Office: the Nonpartisan Postmaster General Act. The bill would prohibit top leadership positions of the Postal Service from holding any political position while serving USPS. It would also restrict potential candidates for these senior roles to those who have not engaged in any political activities within four years of their potential appointments. The purpose is to guarantee that these powerful jobs are headed by qualified experts without special political interests, rather than partisan allies (or Trump-pawns).
