Dear {NAME}, As many New Yorkers celebrate over this long weekend, the campaign also has much to celebrate from last week, so we wanted to give you an update: - Last Thursday we held a community event at one of my favorite bars (shoutout to d.b.a.for being the best hosts!) bringing together nearly 100 supporters. Suffice to say, it was a blast ;) - Ahead of the filing deadline, we set and reached an ambitious fundraising goal—and so much of that was thanks to you. - Adding to our long list of endorsements from community leaders and elected officials, [City Council Member Erik Bottcher announced his support]( for the campaign. Erik and I have worked together a ton over the years to support our communities and make progress on issues that hit close to home for us both, so his endorsement certainly means a lot! … and there’s plenty more where that came from! As you can see, it’s your energy and activism driving our campaign forward, and I want you to know that your support and confidence in me and in this team inspires me every single day.
