These organizations are all dedicated to educating, training, and placing women in the skilled trades, and we’re proud to offer our support. [LEARN ABOUT OUR GRANT]( [ANEW]( [2023 GRANT WINNER]( ANEW Founded in 1980, ANEW is the oldest, continuously running pre-apprenticeship program in the nation with a unique and successful reputation for training people to enter the construction industry. They partner with over 17 apprenticeship programs in the Puget Sound region in their effort to improve the access and advancement of women and people of color in construction and manufacturing careers. With the mission to ensure all women who want to enter the trades have equal access and opportunities, they provide free training programs that offer pathways to high-wage careers in the Union Construction trades and welding/manufacturing industries. [VERMONT WORKS FOR WOMEN]( [2023 GRANT WINNER]( VERMONT WORKS FOR WOMEN Vermont Works for Women’s mission (VWW) is to promote economic justice by advancing gender equity and supporting women and youth at every stage of their career journeys. Founded in 1987, VWW offers hands-on career education and exploration programs to help individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and pursue their employment goals.
