Trump and denier cronies may get in the way, but we can one them. Already in an interview with the New York Times, Trump has waffled on his climate position. Deep down he knows, just like we do, that this is defining issue of our time and we need to act. Trump: Americans Demand Action on Climate Sign Now {NAME}, Donald Trump doesn't like many people or professionals. But sometimes it feels like he has a particular disdain for scientists and those of us who believe them. That's part of what makes his ascension to the presidency so alarming. As the world is poised to finally start solving the climate crisis, a climate denier is moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. But if there's one thing Trump may dislike more than climate science, it's losing a popularity contest. [And this is a reason for hope.] A strong majority of Americans still know that climate change is real and want our government to start doing something about it. [We need every single person who wants climate action – including you – to get so loud that Trump has to listen.] We've faced setbacks before, like scrapping the Kyoto Treaty and leaving the world climate conference in Copenhagen empty-handed. But despite all that, today we're closer than ever to building a solution, with the Clean Power Plan and Paris Agreement in hand. Trump and his denier cronies may get in the way, but we can move them. Already in an interview with the New York Times, Trump has waffled on his climate position. Deep down he knows, just like we do, that this is defining issue of our time, and we need to act. [Add your name to show President-elect Trump that the people stand with science and demand climate action.] Thank you, Emily V.
