What the latest attacks mean.     Trouble viewing this email? [View it online.](   The horrific attack on Rafah will leave thousands to suffer even more. [Give to CARE’s Gaza Crisis Response now.](     [CARE | Crisis Update](   {NAME}, the scenes unfolding in Rafah are horrifying. This isn't just another headline. These are real people, real lives, real suffering. Here’s what the attack on Rafah means:   • Innocent women and children will be bombed.   • Families have to flee for the fourth, fifth, and sixth time seeking safety… but with Rafah being the last 25 square miles of refuge, they have nowhere to go.   • NO ONE can enter or leave – including humanitarian aid. Those in need of medical care cannot get out. Aid cannot get in.   • Feelings of fear and despair permeate every minute for 1.5 million Palestinians right now.   One mother told CARE yesterday:   “We have just left our home here in Rafah. It is the fifth time we are displaced. Since this morning, the bombing and the sound of artillery have not stopped. You can see women and children everywhere, running around on the streets, not knowing where to go. Everyone has the fear of death in their eyes. We are all in shock, yet have to focus so we know what to do so we can survive.”   This is a moment in history that no one, especially innocent children and families forced from their homes, will forget. CARE is ready to rush emergency aid into Gaza. [Every gift to CARE’s Gaza Crisis Response will reach innocent children and families ravaged by this war the moment aid is able to get in. Please, give now.]( – Camille Davis, CARE Humanitarian Planning     CARE has been operating in Gaza and the West Bank since 1948.
