Even when we don’t realize it, art changes us. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Even when we don’t realize it, art changes us.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [HER GIFT WOULDN'T BE FORGOTTEN]( The art we bring into our lives becomes the memories we hold dear. When Mary moved into her first apartment, her mother figured she may need some help decorating. For the first birthday Mary spent there, her mother came by with a gift. It was a stunning piece of art, a canvas that reflected Mary’s personal style beautifully. Her mom knew her well, and had made a great choice. Mary hung it on her wall. It pulled the space together beautifully, bringing personality and depth to the room. She liked the painting, but as her apartment filled with other art and decorations, she didn’t think about it much, Years later, Mary got engaged. She and her fiance planned to move together to another city after getting married, and so they started to pack up their things, a bit at a time. They found that combining two households meant they would need to get rid of some things. But even as Mary made piles of clothes to donate and throughout most of her decor, she knew she would not move without that canvas. Though she realized it wouldn’t quite fit the couple’s combined style, and though her car was packed to the ceiling already, she brought that canvas along. Even though we don’t always realize it, our possessions often become tied in to our identities. It’s not until we consider getting rid of them that we realize the profound attachment we have to them. Only when we consider losing them do we realize how much they mean to us. Mary was discovering how many emotions and memories tied her to this painting. She fully saw its value in her life for the first time.  Often, our most valued possessions acquire an almost magical quality, an essence that goes beyond their physical characteristics. This quality is what makes us hang on to certain things for their ability to transport us back in time, renew old emotions, and spur old memories. Clearly, Emily’s canvas from her mother was far more than decoration. Like Emily, many of our customers have found that their canvases mean so much more to them than they’d imagined.  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Great work!
