Your support has been, and will continue to be, critical for improving the lives of people with cancer and their families. [Please Donate Now]( [American Cancer Society]( [DONATE]( Dear {NAME}, The American Cancer Society just celebrated 110 years of wins against cancer. It’s a huge milestone — so today, we wanted to take an opportunity to say thank you. Together, we touch the lives of more than 55 million people each year through research, advocacy and patient support programs: - Since 1991, we at ACS have invested more than $3.1 billion in Cancer Research, contributing to 3.8 million fewer cancer deaths. - ACS CAN continues to advocate at every level of government for equitable access to cancer breakthroughs in prevention, detection, treatment and survival. Recent wins include expanded access to biomarker testing so that people can get matched to the right treatment, and eliminated barriers to Medicare colonoscopy coverage so that someone who tested positive at home for colorectal cancer risk can get to their next best screening. - And we provide direct support and education for people with cancer, caregivers and clinicians in more than 20,000 communities across the US. In the past year, with your help, we established the IMPACT initiative – Improving Mortality from Prostate Cancer Together, dedicated to improving prostate cancer outcomes for all men. We also launched a renewed “Get Screened” initiative to expand awareness of cancer screening guidelines and get people back into cancer screening. And we introduced ACS CARESTM (Community Access to Resources, Education, and Support), equipping people facing cancer with curated programs and services to fit their specific cancer journey so that they can understand how to navigate that journey. {NAME}, more people are surviving cancer than ever before — but there is still so much work to be done in the year to come. Thank you again for your commitment to helping end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Your support of the American Cancer Society has been, and will continue to be, critical for improving the lives of cancer patients and all of their families.
