With the long weekend over, my team and I are throwing ourselves into the most intense weeks of the campaign. Weâre sprinting at full-speed to finalize our investments, reach voters, and make sure folks across the state have a plan to make their voices heard in this election.
I canât believe weâre already at this point.
I entered this race last June because North Carolina is my home. It's where I was born and raised, and from my early days growing up in Lexington, Iâve always been proud to be from a state that contributes so much to our country.
But for six years, Iâve seen our state suffer because of Thom Tillisâ inaction in Washington. His weak leadership has affected folks across North Carolina â workers and parents, students and retirees.
With so much riding on this election, we canât afford to come up short in the weeks that matter most. Thatâs why weâve set a goal of raising $25,000 in 24 hours. This is one of our last opportunities to get ahead as voters begin to receive their mail-in ballots, so I hope youâll chip in to help:

Thom Tillis has spent his time in office prioritizing corporate special interest donors. I refuse to play that game â Iâm not accepting a single contribution from corporate PACs.
And as we finalize our budget, I would love for our team to be able to say that we reached our goal thanks to people like you â chipping in a few hard-earned dollars at a time because you believe in the work weâre doing together.
I love this state. Itâs where I was raised, itâs where I was educated, and Iâm so proud that my children can say the same. Serving North Carolina in the U.S. Senate will be one of the greatest honors of my life.
