[Read more ➜]( MONDAY MOTIVATION Establish A Good Habit This Year Personally, I’ve never had much success with traditional New Year’s resolutions. I think it's at least partly due to the fact that I usually end up feeling like it's a punishment for something I've done (or a way of punishing myself, depending on the resolution). So I’m trying something a different this year—I’m going to work on establishing a good habit, rather than breaking a bad one. And since the key to establishing a good habit is consistent effort, what better way to approach it than as a simple once-a-day or once-a-week challenge? If traditional resolutions aren’t your thing either, join me in taking on one of these challenges this year. I've got 20 ideas you can choose from below, or to use as inspiration for a challenge of your own design. Do one of the following every day in 2023: 1. Go for a walk 2. Write in a journal 3. Write down something you're grateful for 4. Floss your teeth 5. Practice an instrument 6. Learn a new vocabulary word 7. Meditate for 10 minutes 8. Tidy up for 10 minutes 9. Make your bed 10.
