While many of the symbols are self-explanatory, others carry additional connotations that aren't always obvious. Using these emojis without understanding how other people use them could lead to a miscommunication. For example, 🍑 Peach is popularly used to refer to a person's butt, or to imply something sexual in nature. The meaning of some emojis may vary according to context, like 🥴 Woozy Face, which can indicate confusion, drunkenness, or embarrassment. Another example is 🙈 See-No-Evil Monkey, which is supposed to mean “I saw that, but I won’t say anything about it,” but is often used to say “I did something wrong or embarrassing.” If you see a specific emoji cropping up all over the place, it may be a recent trend, like 🤠Cowboy Face. (Yeehaw!) Other emojis are rarely spotted in the wild (looking at you, 🏩 Love Hotel and 🗜️ Clamp), and sometimes I like to sprinkle those into comments or texts to keep people guessing. If you encounter an emoji and can't tell what it means or implies, you can always copy and paste it into the search bar on [Emoji Guide](.
