If my work helps them, how could it be insignificant? Regardless of your circumstances, you’re not just good enough as you are—you’re everything you need to be. Being kind and helpful to others is no small thing, and I have no doubt you’re a positive presence in the lives of those around you. Think back to a time when a kind word or deed from another person meant a lot to you. Then ask yourself—is that person insignificant? Of course not! If you ever find yourself worrying about your worth, remember that the good you put into the world is good enough.
