PLUS: I tested 5 paper towels and one was the clear winner PLUS: I tested 5 paper towels and one was the clear winner July 10, 2022 [View Online]( Good morning! If it’s been as hot there lately as it has been here, then it certainly feels like summer outside. But if you'd like to bring that summer feeling inside (metaphorically speaking—long live A/C), this week’s download is here to help. Jillee THIS WEEK’S DIGITAL DOWNLOAD This Summer Surprise Is Sure To Brighten Your Day [A photo of Jillee's ]( It certainly feels like summer outside, so here’s a little something to bring that feeling indoors too. While citrus is grown almost all year in California, lemons and summertime are inextricable in my childhood memories. We had a lemon tree in our backyard, as did a lot of our neighbors, and it’s one of a handful of things I really miss about living in the Golden State. Memories of lemon trees and days at the beach were the inspiration for this week’s digital download. You might recall that back in March, I shared some spring-themed printable art. Today, I’m adding to that seasonal series with a new download that’s perfect for summer. Surrounded by lemon tree boughs and set against oceanic stripes, this “Hello Summer” printable art captures so much of what I love about summer. Use it to brighten your space or as part of a craft project–I’ve got some great ideas to get your creative gears turning. You can download your copy of my “Hello Summer” printable at the link below. And as always, I’d love to hear about how you decide to use it—shoot me an email anytime! I don't use paper towels all that often, but when I do, I reach for my favorite Viva paper towels. I love how soft and strong they are, and I've even recommended them in my [DIY wipes tutorial]( on my blog. I've been getting them through Subscribe & Save on Amazon for a while now, but the Viva paper towels I received recently weren’t soft or cloth-like at all. I was surprised, distressed, and a little peeved—I had half a mind to call both Viva and Amazon and demand an explanation! I realized I ought to get my facts straight before I started making angry phone calls, and after searching for answers online, I learned that Viva now makes two kinds of paper towels. There's the new Viva Multi-Surface Cloth, and the old kind I like, which have been rebranded as Viva Signature Cloth. At this point, I was curious to see how the new type compared to my treasured Signature Cloth paper towels. But why stop there? I decided not only to put the two Viva varieties to the test, but include a few other brands of paper towel to make it the ultimate head-to-head paper towel showdown. And that’s exactly what I did! I’ve included all of the details about how I tested the paper towels, as well as a detailed explanation of my final rankings, at the link below. Check it out to find out which paper towel took the top spot in my first-ever paper towel showdown.
