Also, I want to know what you find most confusing about your smartphone in the new Poll of the Week. Jillee TODAY'S GOOD THING The Best Low-Tech Way To Make Your Home Smell Great [Photos of a DIY reed diffuser.]( Enjoy the scents of your favorite essential oils with this very low-maintenance diffuser. Youâll never hear me say (see me type?) a bad word about essential oil diffusers, but I concede that theyâre not always practical in every situation. You need to plug most diffusers in, which isnât always an option, and depending on how much water it holds, you may need to refill it fairly regularly. Luckily, not every method of diffusing essential oils requires water, or even electricity. That means you can passively diffuse essential oils in any room in your home without worry or hassle. The option I'll be sharing with you today is arguably the most low-tech diffuser of allâa DIY reed diffuser. Itâs not only is it quick and easy to make one, but you can fill it with whatever oils you want, whether for their specific benefits or just for the scent. With a DIY reed diffuser, you won't have to worry about open flames, hot wax, power cords, or water levels. Plusâand this might be its most attractive qualityâit will keep releasing fragrance for months with very little maintenance on your part! Check out my tutorial for making your own reed diffuser below. [The Best Low-Tech Way To Make Your Home Smell Great â]( Related • [Here's How To Get Rid Of All The Worst Household Odors](

Between the Apple Watch and enhancements to the Health app, the iPhone has become a powerful tool for keeping track of your health and fitness. And now with the Health Sharing feature introduced in iOS 15, those who need special care (or who have worry-prone family members) have an easy way to share their health data. With Health Sharing, you can share some or all of your health data (like activity level, mobility data, heart rate data, and overall trends) with people in your contacts list. It also gives you the option to share health alerts for events like high heart rates or irregular rhythms. To use Health Sharing, tap Sharing at the bottom of the screen in the Health app, then tap Share with Someone and use the search field to find the person in your contacts list. Tap their contact information, then choose See Suggested Topics or Set Up Manually. Choose topics you want to share, then tap Next, Share, and Done. You can also use Health Sharing to share health data with your doctors and healthcare providers. [Learn more about that at Apple Support](. COOKING Campfire Cuisine: Blueberry Muffins Baked In Orange Peels [A photo of blueberry muffins baked in orange peels.]( At your next camping trip or bonfire, level up your campfire food with these blueberry muffins. Citrus pairs well with pretty much any other fruit, especially in baked goods. These campfire-friendly blueberry muffins get their orange flavor not from zest or juice, but from the hollowed-out orange peels they're baked inside. This is one campfire treat you won't want to miss! Hereâs how to do it: Before you start, you'll need a batch of prepared blueberry muffin batter (use a boxed mix or follow your favorite recipe), oranges (one per muffin), and aluminum foil. Prepare the oranges by cutting them in half and using a spoon to scoop the flesh out. (Eat it as a snack or reserve it for another project.) Fill one hollow orange half with muffin batter, then place another hollow orange half on top and wrap the whole thing in a couple layers of aluminum foil. Set the wrapped orange on a grate over hot coals and let it cook for 8-10 minutes, turning it every few minutes to make sure it bakes evenly. Then carefully unwrap the orange and check the muffin for donenessâwhen the center is cooked through, it's ready to eat. (For instance, I read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green after hearing good things about it, but it wasnât my cup of tea.) But once in a great while, Iâm drawn to a YA novel that ends up leaving a lasting impression, and that was the case with [All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven](. What sets Nivenâs writing apart for me is that she doesnât âwrite downâ to her audience. She writes about teenagers in a way that both teenagers and adults can relate to, and she isnât afraid to tackle sensitive or difficult subjects. All the Bright Places is about a girl who learns to appreciate life from a boy who intends to die. They meet on the ledge of a school tower, both considering ending their lives, but that fateful encounter leads to the two journeying through their home state of Indiana and finding beauty in unexpected places. This novel deals with death, depression, and suicide, but you don't need to be a young adult or have experience with mental illness to be moved the story or its characters. If you do decide to pick up this book, just be sure to pick up some tissues while you're at it. The sign's [namesake constellation]( is related to the Greek myth of Hercules, who Hera hoped to sabotage by sending a crab to distract him during his fight against the many-headed Hydra. Cancer season is considered a sentimental time, perfect for connecting with loved ones.
