PLUS: 9 bad habits that are making your pest problems worse PLUS: 9 bad habits that are making your pest problems worse April 24, 2022 [View Online]( Good morning! When it comes to planning meals, I've found that deciding what to make on which day can be unexpectedly difficult. But the download I'm sharing today has made those decisions a lot easier, and I'm confident it will do the same for you. Jillee THIS WEEK’S DIGITAL DOWNLOAD This Will Simplify Dinnertime And Make Your Life Easier [Photos of Jillee with her Weekly Meal Ideas printable.]( Caught in an endless loop of deciding what to make for dinner? Here's a simple solution. Do you ever feel stuck when deciding what to cook for dinner? Between budgeting, shopping, planning, and cooking, keeping a family fed is a job that can feel never-ending—especially if you’re already running into roadblocks at the planning stage! But never fear, because today I’m sharing a simple strategy that can help. This strategy involves making a couple of templates you can use while meal planning (sort of like a plan for your meal plan!) The benefit of basing your meal plan on a template is that it gives you somewhere to start. You’ll assign a different type of meal to each day of the week, like Mexican, Italian, breakfast for dinner, or vegetarian. Then when it’s time to decide what to have for dinner that day, you already have an idea to go off of instead of choosing at random. But as we all know, variety is the spice of life, which means that using the same template every week could get a bit repetitive. So I suggest creating at least two different templates so you can cycle through them and keep your meal rotation more interesting. To help make the process of creating your own meal planning templates even easier, I’ve put together a printable with two blank weekly templates ready for you to fill in. Just download the “Weekly Meal Ideas” printable, print it out, and write down a theme or category on the line for each day of the week. Want more than two templates to rotate through? Print as many copies as you want to make dinnertime easier without making it boring or repetitive. Download the free printable, and see some examples I came up with for inspiration, at the link below. Stop Doing These 9 Things [Photos of various tips for deterring household pests.]( If pests are showing up and making themselves at home, any of these 9 behaviors could be to blame. While hosting guests can be stressful (usually due to my tendency to go overboard on housework ahead of their arrival), I always consider it a blessing to have family or friends staying with us during the holidays. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a big family, but I’d much rather have a packed house during the holidays than an empty one. But as we all know, not all of our holiday house guests are equally welcome. And no, I’m not talking about your guests' surprise plus-ones—I’m talking about household pests! If you’ve had trouble with rats, mice, ants, roaches, spiders, or any other creepy crawlies invading your space in the past (or are currently in the midst of trying to evict them), you’re probably keen to learn how to keep them at bay. But even more important than getting rid of pests is figuring out why they're attracted to your space. Because if you get rid of pests without considering or addressing the reason(s) they wanted to come inside in the first place, it’s safe to assume they will eventually find their way back in. I’ve put together a list of 9 common behaviors that experts say often contribute to household pest problems. Because once you know what sorts of things attract pests to your home, you can nip those behaviors in the bud and keep those uninvited guests outside where they belong.
