The big news: While Gianforte’s neighbors in Helena faced significant property tax hikes in 2023, Gianforte — who’s responsible for higher taxes — saw a decrease on his privately owned mansion, compared to 2022. He paid less, while everyone else paid more! This is unbelievable, but what more can we expect when we elect a self-interested billionaire looking to line his own pockets at the expense of everyday Montanans? The news report says at Gianforte’s other mansion in Bozeman, he’s been abusing exemptions meant for agricultural producers to avoid paying his fair share. And while he’s dodging cameras and reporters questioning him about his most recent scandal, our Montana Movement is here and making our voices heard. We will not stand for a Governor who’s using his wealth and power to exploit hard-working Montana families already struggling to make ends meet. It’s unacceptable, it’s BS, and it’s got to end.
