This isn’t a stock that I normally follow, but my AI trading tools signaled this as a great short-term opportunity. When I looked at this, I completely agreed and sent the following alert to members… AMR - Alpha Metallurgical Resources (AMR) is a mining company that produces, processes, and sells met and thermal coal in Virginia and West Virginia. While commodity prices and most commodity related stocks have been in a slump, AMR has been one of the strongest stocks in the entire market, up over 100% this year. AMR made new all-time highs this morning, and this is not the type of train I’d want to step in front of. These types of moves can go on longer than many people might think, and I think it's more likely than not that AMR continues higher from here. My Trade Details: - AMR Jan 19, 2024 $340 Calls near $6 - Stop: Close below $250 - Target 1: $340 - Target 2: $350 ’At the time here is what the Chart looked like: There are 3 THINGS I want you to keep in mind when looking for a Gamma Trigger move: - The stock must be in a bullish uptrend. - The stock takes a pause, and trades under the 20-hourly MA line for at least 3 days. - The stock then resumes trading back above the 20-hourly level for a potential to resume the trend. A lot of traders want to “jump the gun” and buy strong stocks on the dip. That is understandable, but I have found that waiting for the stock to trade back above the hourly level gives me a higher success rate.
