[bullet journal](   Dear {NAME},  We’ll get back to our regular Weekly Log next week, but I wanted to dedicate space this week to an important update in the Bujo world.  As you may have already heard, we’re opening enrollment for [Writing for Being Cohort 2]( later this month. And as we get closer and closer to this pivotal (and immensely exciting) launch, I thought this would be a perfect time to shed a little more insight on why I created this live experience to begin with.  Writing for Being was born from a pivotal moment in my life. I found myself at a crossroads, lacking the tools to navigate what appeared like a hopeless situation. If the rest of my life was going to be like this, I wasn’t interested. I spent years searching and developing a new set of tools for transforming a hopeless story into one of possibility. The result is Writing for Being, a live experience designed to help you navigate any season of your life with confidence and clarity. [Click Here to Join the Waitlist Now]( At the heart of this new way of being was a question: “If life were to happen for me rather than to me, who do I need to be?"  I started creating a framework that changed how I was living my life. Over time, this framework made a profound and deeply positive impact, both personally and professionally. I gained the vision and clarity that I was desperately seeking, and I started showing up differently to the people around me. In short, the framework changed my story.  The effectiveness of this framework and its tools inspired me to share it with others. That is where the idea for [Writing for Being]( came from—I knew without a doubt that this program had the power to change how people were writing their life stories.  Here’s the real-life, behind-the-scenes example: You may remember when we first announced Writing for Being in December 2023, planning for a January 2024 launch.  At that time I had been dealing with a wrist injury that made it difficult to write, type, work, and even accomplish basic, everyday things. I was pushing and pushing and pushing, and ultimately depriving myself the rest I truly needed. This started to affect everyone in my orbit, too. I lacked patience, I was unable to focus in meetings, and I wasn’t showing up the way I usually did. In short, I was burning myself out—all before the course had even started!  What saved me was the very framework I was developing in [Writing for Being](: a systematic approach to setting intentions, defining values, and clarifying purpose. I was asking reflective questions that showed me a version of myself that I… well, let’s face it, didn’t like very much. And through applying the writing technology of the framework, I started to unpack the challenges, face the roadblocks, and become more present, all while bringing a better future to life.  And then my big ‘a-ha moment’ hit. Writing for Being does not promise some quick fix to an impossible challenge. What it does gives you, is a framework for transforming any challenges into a possibility—today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your life. It gives you a way to own your story, rather than it owning you.  There’s another major factor in my journey—and that is community. There’s an old African proverb that goes: if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Though [Writing for Being]( is a life-long personal practice, you don't have to go it alone. Your cohort will provide a powerful learning and accountability network to help you write the next chapter of your life.  This was one of the many moving lessons we took from Cohort 1. This group made it clear that co-learning provide some of the most powerful experiences for attendees. They also provided such meaningful feedback to myself and the team that we then used to refine the live curriculum until it was just right. Developing and reworking this curriculum felt like the culmination of my life’s work. Through this programming, I channeled all of my fear, anxieties, and uncertainties into creating something that helps others. The reviews speak for themselves.  We’re just weeks away from Writing for Being’s first-ever public enrollment in late June. And to say I’m excited doesn’t even come close to covering it. These spaces will sell out fast (the beta sold out in five minutes!!!).
