We can't wait to share what we've been up to this month! What’s New in BuddyBoss BuddyBoss Platform - Secured URLs for Member Profiles 🔗 You asked, and we delivered! On our latest update, we've added a new feature that allows you to change the identifier used in member profile URLs. This means that instead of using a member's username to create their profile URL (like [www.domain.com/members/username]( you can now use a unique identifier instead. This change addresses some privacy concerns and gives you even more flexibility to customize your site. [Learn More]( BuddyBoss Platform: Automatically Follow Members After Connecting 👉 After we released the 'Notification for new activity posts by someone you're following' feature, we heard from some of you that you'd like to make even more use of it. So, we've added an optional setting that automatically follows a member you connect with. This makes it even easier to stay in the loop and never miss an update from your favorite members. [Learn More]( BuddyBoss App: GamiPress Support in Access Control 👉 We're excited to announce that GamiPress is now supported in Access Controls (Labs feature)! With this update, you have more options to restrict access based on ranks. We can't wait to hear your feedback before this feature is fully released. Better Than Ever - The Enhancements BuddyBoss Platform 🛡️ We've made some enhancements to the way we get member login status, which should make things run much smoother and faster. With this update, we'll be using an independent PHP file or an MU Plugin (depending on what's executable on your server) to get member login information. This means you'll be able to enjoy a faster and more seamless experience than ever before. 🚀 We've made some improvements to our Pusher integration, which means you can now share socket connections when you have multiple browser tabs open. This not only makes things more efficient, but it also reduces your usage limit from Pusher. BuddyBoss App 🚀 Some great improvements were also made to our Push Notifications feature! With better database management and optimized scheduling, you'll experience improved responsiveness and enhanced security. We've also updated Firebase to use the new v1 API, which means even better performance and reliability. 🎧 Our new Icon Set now supports a foreground color when using Rounded or Boxes with the Filled style! This update gives you even more flexibility and customization options for your app. 🔗 LearnDash Course Categories now have a deeplink. This means, it’s now easier to navigate to specific course categories quickly. 📲 We've made improvements to Memberium compatibility to block restrictions on App Pages. [Read the Full Article on New Features and Enhancements]( Bugs No More BuddyBoss Platform & Platform Pro 🚫 We have disabled Activity, Activity comment, media description, forums discussion, and reply forms post button when content doesn't exist or media is not uploaded. 🔍 Fixed issue with profile search for fields configured as 'only me' privacy. 📄 Resolved issue with group documents pagination. 🛡️ Fixed critical issues with settings API when all moderation options are disabled. 👤 Fixed display name issue for newly registered members when Moderation component is active. 🐞 Fixed delete activity post permission issue for group organizers in social groups. 🚀 Improved performance and security by updating several JS libraries. 🔍 Improved Gutenberg block for Zoom by allowing "search and select" for the timezone field. 📩 Fixed group message permission issue when access control is configured for messages. BuddyBoss Theme 🐞 Fixed sub-menu margin issue in responsive view for BuddyPanel. 💬 Resolved issue with scroll to specific blog comment not working when header is configured as sticky for Blog. 🔘 Fixed sidebar toggle issue for single lesson and topic for logged-out users in LearnDash. BuddyBoss App 🐞 Fixed a number of bugs related to quizzes in LearnDash. 🐞 Resolved an issue of sub-sites being forced to use the same menu in Multisite.
