4-Day Weekend and Single Day Passes Available Now! [Explore the lineup and purchase passes]( [View this email in your browser]( [Big Ears 2024]( Big Ears is a music festival unlike any other. It has been declared “one of the world’s greatest music bashes,” by The New York Times and “the boldest, most dynamic music festival in the world” by No Depression, among many other accolades. Presenting over 200 concerts and events, along with films, conversations with artists, workshops, and exhibitions, Big Ears hosts many of the world’s most exciting, innovative, and influential artists – weaving rock, folk, hip-hop, jazz, classical, electronic, and undefinable music from all over the world into a dazzling, kaleidoscopic 4-day weekend of musical adventure. Performances take place in over a dozen venues – from historic theaters to rock clubs, galleries, churches and cathedrals, and performance spaces of all kinds – across Knoxville, TN’s beautiful and historic downtown, all within walking distance of an array of great restaurants, shops, and hotels. The 2024 festival takes place Thursday, March 21 – Sunday, March 24. In 2024, Big Ears begins its second decade with another remarkable lineup. Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker debuts her new solo project; jazz legends Herbie Hancock and Charles Lloyd perform; and hip-hop legends Digable Planets are joined by a new generation with Armand Hammer, Billy Woods, Mavi, and Roc Marciano. The exuberantly undefinable multi-Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste brings his band; avant-garde legend Laurie Anderson performs with Sexmob; and 2023 Pulitzer Prize-winner Rhiannon Giddens performs three uniquely different shows. Additionally, the “supergroup” of John Medeski, Joe Russo, and Marc Ribot play their second show ever, and there’s vital new bluegrass from Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, along with another new supergroup, Mighty Poplar, to be heard as well. King Britt has curated a 4-day, 14-artist Blacktronika program that includes Detroit Techno legend Carl Craig. Jazz legend Henry Threadgill will be celebrated with five different bands, spanning his wild and brilliant 50 year+ musical legacy. Full 4-day weekend passes, along with single-day passes, are now available. Details are at [bigearsfestival.org](.
