plus Kraftewerk, New Order, Tool, RATM & more [View this email in your browser]( [BrooklynVegan]( Happy Monday, welcome to a new week, and check out our new -- hopefully very useful -- weekly list of the [5 NYC shows we most want to see this week]( We're excited about this new feature, and about all the great new music and tour announcements that we talk about below... [Sightless Pit] "...it’s harsh and noisy and full of blood-curdling screams, but these songs can also — in their own weird way — qualify as pop songs. " NEW MUSIC [2019]( was a great year for music, and we're sure 2020 will be no different. As March approaches, it feels like we're starting to amass a list of albums big enough to start ranking for this year, and some of the heavy hitters [came out on Friday](. Leading the pack of new releases last week is part one of Moses Sumney's new double album græ -- an amazing album that rewards attentive listening and that we feel like will continue to reveal its riches with repeat listens. Grimes' new album is also finally here and actually good, and Ozzy Osbourne's new album is not only actually decent, but features guest spots from Slash, Post Malone, Travis Scott AND Elton John that all kind of work. Oh, and the above quote... that's about Sightless Pit, the new mind blowing collaboration between members of The Body, Full of Hell and Lingua Ignota. Read [our reviews of these and more in Notable Releases](. [Indie Basement this week]( highlights more under the radar releases from Julian Cope (his 35th album!), Lithuanian darkwave group Solo Ansamblis, and more, along with a new track by the great Andrew Weatherall who [we tragically lost last week](. Ian MacKaye's new band Coriky -- with his Fugazi bandmate Joe Lally, and his Evens bandmate Amy Farina --- release their debut album next month. [First single "Clean Kill"]( has us excited. We also just [caught them live]( in their hometown. [Today we got new songs]( from Disclosure, Soccer Mommy, No Age, Darkstar, Clan of Xymox, and more. Each day we post a list of songs like this, and [each month we put our favorites in a playlist](. [Neil Young Crazy Horse tour]( NEW TOURS Neil Young is planning a [Crazy Horse tour]( of old arenas that they used to play (that haven't been demolished). Kraftwerk are celebrating their 50th anniversary (!!) with [new 3D tour dates]( including Radio City Music Hall. Get tickets early to that show starting Wednesday (2/26) with our BrooklynVegan presale. Look out an email coming with the password. Tool [expanded their tour]( through the spring and summer, including dates with Blonde Redhead including Nassau Coliseum. Tool have also been [added to Sonic Temple]( along with Red Hot Chili Peppers, since Metallica had to [drop off]( that and Louder Than Life. Radiohead's Ed O'Brien [announced a tour]( for his EOB solo project. Bright Eyes are back, and they're going on a [world tour](. Meanwhile Conor Oberst and his Phoebe Bridgers play production assistants in a very funny new [Meet the CONAN Staff video](. Black Flag -- Greg Ginn's current version of it -- [added some tour dates]( if you're into that kind of thing. Rage Against the Machine [added new dates]( to their reunion tour with Run the Jewels, bringing them to a total of five NYC shows at Madison Square Garden. New Order & Pet Shop Boys are going on a [co-headlining tour](. It stops at Madison Square Garden, and you can get tickets early starting Thursday (2/27) with our BrooklynVegan presale. Stay tuned for that password. The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr, and Yola [hit the road together]( this summer. Judas Priest are celebrating their [50th anniversary on tour](. Beck, Norah Jones, Father John Misty, Margo Price and [more]( play beach town festival [Beach Road Weekend]( this summer. [Tickets available now at a reduced price](.
