On Monday, I was officially sworn in as Maryland’s Comptroller. {NAME}, On Monday, I was officially sworn in as Maryland’s Comptroller. It was an amazing day, and I’m so glad so many people could join us for the ceremony and our celebration! [Photos of Brooke at her inauguration]( It’s been a long journey to get here, and I am so excited to get to work. On Tuesday, I walked into a new office, ready to hit the ground running with meetings about our budget, improving the employee experience, and my first meeting as vice chair of the state pension board! Yesterday, I appeared in front of the Appropriations Committee to talk about some key priorities. Everyone deserves a path to prosperity in our state, from workers and small businesses to families and retirees. I will do my absolute best each and every day to ensure that the Comptroller’s office is building a more equitable, resilient, and prosperous state than the one we inherited. I look forward to all the ways we’ll work together to build a better Maryland. Keep in touch, and see you soon! My best, (She, Her, Hers) PS: If you missed the ceremony, you can watch the [livestream on the Comptroller’s YouTube page]( and [see more photos here.]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Authorized by Brooke Lierman for Maryland; Chairman, Alvin Lee; Treasurer, Candace Dodson-Reed.
