Anyone else kick off the COVID season with a LOT of wine and ice cream? [View this email in your browser]( "Just working on my fitness" 💃 I’ll be real for a sec: I definitely gained weight at the start of COVID. My early hypothesis of my changing figure hinged between the extra ice cream and glasses of wine at night, in addition to new muscle mass from working out more than normal (thank you lack of commute!). Over the past month, I’ve cut back on my sugar and alcohol, but kept up my workouts -- and wouldn’t you know it, my body feels and looks back to normal. It *was* the sugar! The only problem now? Wildfires are rampant all over, and here in Northern California the air quality is awful. Bye bye, outdoor runs and hikes :( But have no fear, I’ve recently downloaded a few apps to keep me fit indoors. My current faves include: [Kira Stokes Fit]( (you guys, if you’re not following her on IG, prepare to be inspired), [Obé Fitness]( (creative cardio by some of my fave trainers), and I do love my [Mirror]( for indoor yoga and pilates. (They even have fun dance cardio options, too!) Obviously I still partake in wine and ice cream, but do my best to limit it to a couple times per week, and at a smaller serving size than I used to. Otherwise, I’m loading up on proteins, fruits and veggies as often as I can. My body and mind are much happier! How are you keeping fit these days? Any genius tips to share?
